Main House

The Main House is the traditional Georgian townhouse housing our lobby, private dining room, stylish bar, library and restaurant which opens onto our terraced garden. Upstairs on the first floor are Rooms 1 to 5.

Main House Rooms

Room 1

Room 1 is a mid-sized room with a king bed and hardwood floor. It is one of only two rooms in the hotel with a wood-burning stove. This dual aspect room features a walk-in wardrobe, French Doors opening to a Juliette balcony, plus three oversized traditional sash windows that include views of Cowes Old Town. The ensuite bathroom has a stylish walk-in shower.

Room 2

Room 2 is a mid-sized room with a super-king bed that can be made up as a twin.  The room features hardwood floor, a stylish walk-in shower and two large east-facing traditional sash windows that invite much light into the room and views of Cowes Harbour.

Room 3

Room 3 is one of our most celebrated rooms. It has a super-king 4-poster bed and is our only room with a roll-top bathtub in the bedroom itself, separate from the stylish ensuite shower in the bathroom. Room 3 is one of our largest rooms with hardwood floors, a magnificent chandelier, a bar cart, a walk-in wardrobe and a generous sofa that faces a wood burning stove. The over-sized traditional sash windows feature views into Sun Hill, the quiet and picturesque residential street below.

Room 4

Room 4 is a mid-size room with a king bed and hardwood floor. French Doors lead into a stylish marble-floored bathroom with a roll top bathtub (plus a rain shower above,) and views through over-sized traditional sash windows onto Sun Hill, the picturesque residential street below. The room features an armoire style wardrobe and shares a private hallway with Room 5 (behind a further external door to the main hallway which can be closed to create privacy when used together with Room 5 as a family suite).

Room 5

Room 5 is a smaller room, with a king bed and two comfy chairs under a floor-to-ceiling traditional south-facing sash window that invites much light and a view of our garden and Cowes Old Town. The room features a natural wood-stained floor, a large walk-in wardrobe and a stylish marble-tiled bathroom with a spacious walk-in shower.  Room 5 shares a private hallway with Room 4 (behind a further external door to the main hallway which can be closed to create privacy when used together with Room 4 as a family suite).
