Garden Suites

Further along the courtyard and closest to our garden and heated swimming pool are Rooms 9 to 15 in what we call the Garden Suites.

Garden Suite Rooms

Room 9

Room 9 is one of our cozier rooms. It has a king bed and large traditional sash windows facing into our walled patio. It’s a ground-floor room beside the entry into the Garden Suites, so access to Room 9 is quick and convenient, especially with the outdoor heated swimming pool just steps away. The room features a large armoire style wardrobe, and a compact ensuite with shower.

Room 10

Room 10 is down its own hallway from Room 11 and is one of our most private rooms, with a king bed and a large writing desk. French Doors lead to the bathroom which is compact though very attractive.  While much light is received from above the pretty white garden wall outside the window, there is no view. The room also features the original Forester’s Hall heritage wall safe, sadly we don’t have the key.

Room 11

Room 11 is one of our most spacious rooms. It has a super-king bed which can also be made up as a twin. French Doors lead into an oversized bathroom with a roll top bathtub, a separate walk-in shower and a double wash-hand basin.  This dual aspect room features dark wood floors, a large armoire style wardrobe and two cozy chairs under a large east-facing traditional sash window that looks into our garden, which makes this ground-floor suite one of our brightest rooms. It is also one of the closest to the outdoor heated swimming pool. A rollaway bed or a cot are available on request.

Room 12

Room 12 is up the staircase in the Garden Suites and is also known as the “Dame Judi Dench Suite.” Room 12 is a very large room with a super-king two-poster bed and a spacious seating area for a large group. This dual aspect room features French Doors opening to a Juliette balcony facing into our terrace with a terrific view of Cowes Harbour in the background. There’s a writing desk, an armoire style wardrobe and an oversized pendant light. French Doors lead into an enormous bathroom with a roll-top bath, separate walk-in shower and a double wash-hand basin.

Room 14

Room 14, also up the staircase in the Garden Suites, is a mid-size room, but with a king 4-poster canopy-styled bed. Two comfy chairs face neighboring gardens on Sun Hill a quiet residential road. The bathroom has one of our most spacious walk-in showers. Much light is provided by the west-facing large traditional sash windows. This dual aspect room also features an armoire style wardrobe and a view from the bathroom of our outdoor heated swimming pool and Cowes Old Town.

Room 15

Room 15, further along the corridor from Room 14 in the Garden Suites, is a very large room with a super-king bed and two comfy chairs facing French Doors which open to a Juliette balcony that looks over our garden and to a beautiful view of the sea in the background.  Like our Dame Judi Dench Suite, this dual aspect room features a magnificent oversized pendant light and a small writing desk. The room has a walk-in wardrobe and a window from the bathroom that looks out to our outdoor heated swimming pool and Cowes Old Town. The bathroom has one of our biggest walk-in showers.
