Children’s Policy

Foresters Hall is a boutique design hotel known for its laid-back luxury and intimate setting. As a result, we have policies regarding children joining their parents at the hotel.

It is recommended for all bookings involving children, that guests contact the hotel prior to booking to discuss their specific circumstance and see if the hotel can accommodate.

Within certain specifications, children of all ages are welcome to the hotel, subject to the following:

1. Parents wishing their children to join them at the hotel must contact the hotel prior to booking, if parents book a room for two adults and then show up at check-in with children, they will not be accommodated unless a second room is available on check in.

2. Except for one designated room (as noted in #5 below) hotel rooms can only sleep a maximum of 2 people (including children.)

3. Children responsible enough to sleep in a room without their parents (generally not children under 12 - unless there’s an older sibling in the same room) must have their own room which subject to availability, can be adjacent to their parents’ room. Note that 3 of our rooms can be made up as a twin.

4. Children not responsible enough to sleep without a parent (generally children under 12) may share a room with a parent subject to the maximum of two people in the room (which often means one parent sleeps with one child and the other parent sleeps alone or with a second child.) Again, subject to availability, the two rooms can be arranged to be adjacent.

5. We have one room which can accommodate one small child to be in the room with 2 parents subject to applicable supplement. The child must be under 5 years old. Please enquire with reception prior to booking.

6. Children must be supervised at all times when using the swimming pool and must respect the quiet and relaxed use of the pool by other guests. Children’s pool hours may need to be implemented from time to time.

We recommend for all bookings involving children, that guests call the hotel first to discuss their specific circumstance and see if the hotel can accommodate.
